Our K-5 online public school curriculum offers rich and engaging content carefully designed to meet the standards required by the state of California. At Graves Regional Independent Study Program, students are engaged in academics, participating in various activities and assessments appropriate to the courses being studied, including labs, journals, written assignments, discussions, group and individual projects, formative assessments, objective tests, and written exams.

Elementary

The elementary school years prepare students by teaching them vital subjects, such as reading, science, and mathematics. During these formative years, they also develop critical thinking skills, learn to solve problems, understand abstract ideas, and develop time management skills that will help lay the foundation for future success.
